Best Western Plus Le Lavarin

1. Ideal location! It's far enough from the city centre to offer peace and quiet, yet still conveniently accessible without a car. Just a short walk, less than a minute, from the nearest bus stop. The C2 bus takes you directly to the city centre and Avignon Centre train station (also close to Avignon Tourist Centre for tours) in about 10 stops, for just €1.40. 2. The hotel has an elegant, villa-like appearance. It's situated within a gated property, guests simply ring the reception via the doorbell, and the gate opens automatically. With 24-hour reception, there's no curfew, allowing for flexible arrivals and late returns (but it would be good to let the reception know also). 3. The room is exceptionally comfortable, spotlessly clean, and has a luxurious, high-end feel. 4. The buffet breakfast is delightful, definitely not to be missed! Everything is fresh, with a wide variety including hot dishes, cereals, pastries, breads, mini pancakes and crepes, fruits, cheeses, cold cuts, juices, cow and soy milk, plus a great selection of coffees and teas. The dining area overlooks the garden and pool, but on a sunny day, eating outside is the best option. 5. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. 6. There's an adults-only wellness centre which was a real highlight for me! It features a small gym (with three equipment and a yoga mat), a drinking water dispenser, a heated indoor pool with towels provided, and a sauna. 7. The lounge offers several cozy seating areas with sofas and tables—ideal for relaxing with a book, enjoying a coffee, or just unwinding. 8. Complimentary pastries and refreshing water are available by the reception area after lunch and throughout the rest of the day.

The room was perfect with a small balcony outside too. Great shower, bath and two sinks in bathroom! The pool outside was nice, a good size and lots of trees for natural shade. The inside pool and sauna were also great, usually very quite in there too. Breakfast was also very nice.

The facilities in the executive room were nice, both bath and shower, nice terrace, comfortable mattress and pillows, tea and coffee making equipment and a small fridge. The breakfast was delicious. Both the indoor and outdoor swimming pools were fabulous, lovely decor outside with the garden, olive trees, etc. Restaurant and bar were fabulous too. Free parking as the hotel is outside of the town, yet only a 10min drive away.

The receptionist staff was extremely helpful getting me settled in and communicating with TGV to retrieve a lost bag. Ninon remembered my name each of three visits, making reservations for me without referring to her screen.

Beautiful hotel, very comfortable and clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It has a private parking, which is great. We didn’t get to use the swimming pool or the spa, but they looked fantastic as well. Excellent breakfast too!
